SweepClear ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the SweepClear mobile application and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
SweepClear is built on a local-first architecture. Our core scanning engine operates entirely on your device. We believe your memories and contacts belong to you alone.
We distinguish between the content you manage (which we do not collect) and the technical data we need to run the App.
To provide cleaning and organization features, SweepClear requires access to your Photo Gallery and Contacts.
· Scanning Logic: We analyze photos, videos, and contacts to identify duplicates, blurry shots, and large files.
· Zero-Upload Policy: All scanning, hashing, and analysis are performed locally on your mobile device. We do not upload, store, or have any access to your raw photos, videos, or contact details on our servers.
We collect limited, non-identifying technical information to ensure App stability:
· Device Information: Device model, OS version, and system language.
· Storage Status: Current disk space usage (to calculate potential savings).
· App Performance: Crash reports and anonymized usage logs (e.g., which features are most popular) via IDFV.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share anonymized data with trusted service providers to improve App performance:
· Analytics (e.g., Firebase): We use industry-standard tools to monitor crash reports and feature performance. This data is fully anonymized.
· Subscription Processing: All payments are handled by Apple Inc. We only receive transaction confirmations (not your credit card info) to unlock premium features.
Regardless of where you live, we provide the following rights:
· Right to Access: You can review the technical data we have associated with your IDFV.
· Right to Deletion: You can request the deletion of any technical logs by contacting us.
· Right to Opt-Out: You can stop all collection of technical data by uninstalling the App or adjusting "Tracking" settings in iOS.
We implement robust security measures to protect your information:
· Encryption: Any technical data transmitted is protected via SSL/TLS encryption.
· Minimalism: We adhere to the "Data Minimization" principle—if we don't need it to clean your phone, we don't ask for it.
SweepClear is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
